This tuner (version1.02) was recomended a while back by Tim Moyer

Its reaction speed is so fast it scared the life out of me.
The newer version (version 3.08)  is share/donate ware.

This software was initially developed for shakuhachi (japanes flute) tuning for makers, but also can use another purpose.

This software includes following facility.

-Sound color analyzer based on FFT with memory
-Multi purpose auto tuner,
-Sound volume meter.
-ET & JT intonation

Exist in both windows & mac versions

other toys (all for free!) include 
a slowdowner
a metronome
a cent tuner
a tuning fork
